
Also, an occasional drink server has trouble with English, but the staff who take food orders are all fluent. I've only had "bad" service twice there, and neither server lasted beyond a couple weekends.

I must say that service can be spotty at times, and varies anywhere from "perfect" to "that'll do, I suppose". Having gone pretty much every weekend at varying hours for 2+ years, I've got a pretty good idea how they operate.

When I lived in Los Alamos, this was a weekend brunch ritual for me. Tortilla Flats definitely have the best breakfast burritos in Santa Fe no competition! Surprisingly, their pancakes are also out of this world, as they seem to use a much tastier batter mix than most other restaurants (if 2 cakes are too much, you can order 1, even though it's not on the menu).
